VIVA Creative had the privilege of producing the christening event for Norwegian Escape, the first in their Breakaway Plus Class. This high-profile event at PortMiami highlighted Miami's vibrant culture and showcased the ship's luxury features.

Our mission was to design an event that blended entertainment, community engagement, and the grandeur of Norwegian Escape while establishing a deep connection to its home port of Miami. This required seamless coordination of headline performances, interactive elements, and unveiling of the ship's unique amenities for attendees and media. Highlights include:

• Celebrity Host: Global music star Pitbull served as the ship's "godfather," delivering an electrifying performance to christen the vessel.
• Showcasing Ship Entertainment: Exclusive previews of Broadway-caliber performances, such as "After Midnight" and "Million Dollar Quartet," introduced the ship's entertainment offerings.
• Performances & Speakers: Guests were captivated by acrobatic parkour performers, a DJ-led interactive singalong, a special appearance by famous fisherman Guy Harvey, and remarks from Miami-Dade County Mayor on the ship's positive community impact.
• Immersive Elements: Attendees enjoyed animated slideshows, guest-themed photos, social media activations, games and prizes, and previews of the ship's innovative features.
• Personalized Service: Guests enjoyed mobile refreshment carts delivering refreshments to seats.

The christening event achieved widespread success, earning significant media coverage and igniting excitement for Norwegian Escape’s launch. The interactive and community-focused elements established a lasting connection between the ship, Miami residents, and NCL brand values.
