The Giving Pledge is a movement of philanthropists who are committed to giving the majority of their wealth to charitable causes. Created by Warren Buffet, Melinda French Gates, and Bill Gates, the Giving Pledge came to life following a series of conversations about how to set a new standard of generosity.
Joining the Giving Pledge is more than a one-time event – it means becoming part of an energized community of some of the world’s most engaged philanthropists to discuss some of the world's greatest challenges.
VIVA partnered with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to design and produce their Giving Pledge virtual event series, enabling intimate conversations in a highly secure online environment. Each season of twenty-five events is hosted on a custom-built online platform, which includes a registration database and dual-authentication login.
